Am A Bidayuh Gal

The Bidayuh is a name of a tribe on Borneo island. They are a subgroup of the Borneo Dayak tribe. Bidayuhs originally came from the western part of Borneo. They were called Land Dayaks by the British who colonised the part of Borneo called Sarawak which is now a state in Malaysia. They are one of the main indigenous ethnic groups in Sarawak and now are settled in the northwestern part of Borneo, or southwestern Sarawak, around Kuching and Samarahan in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. Bidayuhs are also found in west Kalimantan. In Sarawak, most of the Bidayuh population are found within 40 km of the geographical area known as Greater Kuching, within the Kuching and Samarahan division. Today more and more Bidayuh have migrated, and live in Kuching, which is the capital city of Sarawak. They are the second largest Dayak ethnic group in Sarawak after the Iban tribe (Iban).

Hehehe... aku adalah seorang gadis Bidayuh. Kohkohkoh~ (nie entry paling sengal aku penah buat.) Tetiber laks aku berciter ttg asal usul aku kan. Sebab dulu penah sesorang itu tanya aku..aku tau tak ttg asal aku. Ofkos la aku tau ttg asal usul aku. Cuma aku jarang bercakap ttg asal usul aku. Nak nak lg bahser aku sendiri. Kalo mummy tepon, ada la orang sembang ngan aku ngan bahser ibunda aku. Aku jumper kawan aku yg sebangsa pun lom tentu kiterorang cakap dalam bahser ibunda, sbb kiterorang might be datang dari background yg lelaen. Sebangsa...tp tak bermaksud bahser kiterorang sama. Tadi aku terpikir, aku nak wat costume tradisional aku sepasang. So, aku pun surfing la nak carik gambo. Sok lusa aku beli kain, aku kasik gambo kat tukang jahit, suruh dier jahit sebiji camtuh. Agak² korang, tukang jahit kat KL nie reti ke ar? Hahahaha..krem utak aku memikir tang tuh plak. Ada sesapa yg kenal tukang jahit yg berkaliber? Yg bole menjahit pakaian tradisional seperti gambo di atas? Sila bgtau ek. Dalam bangsa Bidayuh sajer, kiterorang ada 5 dialects. Aku dari keturunan Bau-Jagoi. Di atas adalah sebotan beberapa perkataan dalam bahser Bidayuh. Ada sesapa nak cakap dalam bahser bidayuh ngan aku pas nie? Sila la ek...huhuhuhu
